Salutations! An Informal Introduction.
My name is Alyssa and my story started all the way in SoCal (Lancaster to be exact). This is my second year here at NCU; intended as an English major with a minor in Written Communications and Business Administration. As fate (and determination) would have it, this year I have joined the Beacon Bolt team as a staff writer.
A few phrases to describe me: An old soul, quirky as jerky, radically in love with Jesus, tea enthusiast (I’d love to have a cuppa with you sometime), and genuinely intrigued by everyone and everything. If I’m not reading or writing, you can trust that I am not consumed by boredom. If you can think it, I’m probably doing it…singing, dancing (preferably in the rain), knitting, sewing, crafting, baking, or dreaming. You’ve probably seen me staring at a tree or rolling around in the quad…I admit I am completely and utterly mad…but don’t fret…all the best people are.
If you are ever in need of someone to talk to, take pictures with, run around in the rain with…I am your gal. I’d absolutely love to get to know you and all the things that make you…well, you. I love to be God’s little worker, so don’t hesitate to ask me for help on anything…nothing is too big or too small for me & my bestie (Jesus).
Thanks for listening and God bless!
